Step 1 (Collection of Input Data)

1) Field information like Chainage, Ground Levels (G.L.), Village Limits (Names of villages), etc. are to be collected from the field (Surveyors).

2) Details of the proposed structures and their chainages are to be collected from the design department.

3) Soil classification like All Kinds of Soils (A.K.S.), Soft Disintegrated Rock (S.D.R.), Hard Disintegrated Rock (H.D.R.), Fractured & Fissured Rock (F&F) and Hard Rock (H.R.) etc. are to be collected from field (Geologists).

4) Hydraulic Particulars (H.P’s) like, initial Canal Bed Level (C.B.L.), Bed Fall, Full Supply Depth (F.S.D.) and Free Board, etc. are to be collected from Design Department.
